AUBURN, N.Y. (WHCU) — Auburn’s mayor did not want a 5th term at City Hall.

Mike Quill tells WHCU why he made that decision.

Quill, who’s wrapping up four terms this week as mayor of Auburn, formerly served as fire chief. He adds Auburn’s next administration needs room to grow.

Two-term city councilor Jimmy Giannettino will be sworn in as Auburn’s next mayor on New Year’s Day.
