FREETOWN, N.Y. (WHCU) — A Cortland County man is in jail this morning on multiple charges.

Deputies say Christopher Fox was violating an order of protection when he got into a physical dispute Saturday with someone at a home in Freetown. While searching the house, deputies say several unsecured guns were found. Fox also allegedly destroyed the victim’s cell phone.

The 22-year-old is at the Cortland County Jail on $4,000 cash bail after his arrest on several charges, including criminal contempt and harassment. Fox is scheduled to be back in Freetown Town Court on December 27.
