ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Health officials are looking for information about a dog bite in Ithaca.
On April 10, a medium-sized dog with a yellow-brown coat allegedly bit someone in the 400 block of West Seneca Street.
The person who was bitten did not realize the extent of the injury, so no contact information was exchanged.
The biting dog’s owner is described as a white male, early 20s to late 30s, approximately 5’7″, with glasses. The Tompkins County Whole Health Department is trying to rule out post-rabies exposure treatment for the victim.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Environmental Health at (607) 274-6688.
