ALBANY, N.Y. (WHCU) — Over 200 bills still require a decision from Governor Kathy Hochul.
CityandStateNY.com reports among the bills on the governor’s desk are the Clean Slate Act, which would seal records of convicted criminals after several years of staying out of trouble. Another is a bill that would move most town and village elections to even years, which was met with resistance from some Republicans.
Hochul has 261 bills that require either her signature or veto before year’s end.
