CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) – A Cortland man is facing felony charges after a brawl at a bar.
Four different police agencies responded to a large fight at the Palm Gardens just before 12:30 a.m. Saturday. Authorities say the fight spilled into the parking lot and one person was allegedly stabbed by 36-year-old Robert Gardner. Gardner is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Four others were arrested for disorderly conduct and more arrests are possible. The investigation is ongoing. Gardner posted bail and will appear in court next week on Wednesday. The stabbing victim is expected to make a full recovery.
