ITHACA, NY (607 News Now) – A product sold in Aldi stores nationwide is being recalled.
On February 22, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced that 32-ounce bags of frozen Bremer Family Size Italian-Style Meatballs could be contaminated with metal.

Officials say the recall applies to nearly 9500 pounds of meatballs. Manufactured by Rosina Food Products Inc. on July 30, 2025, the bags contain about 64 meatballs and have a Best by Date of October 30, 2026.

The affected product has the establishment number “EST. 4286B” inside the USDA mark of inspection, with a timestamp range of 17:08 through 18:20. No injuries or adverse health effects have been reported to date.
