OVID, NY (607NewsNow) – Another man has been charged in an Ovid burglary investigation.
On January 20, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ted O’Connor, of Seneca Falls.
Deputies say he briefly barricaded himself in his home during his arrest. The 45-year-old is accused of unlawfully entering a building in Ovid to steal copper piping.
Another suspect in the crime, Joseph Lamb of Newark, was arrested earlier this month. Both men are charged with felony burglary, misdemeanor possession of burglar’s tools, and misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance.
O’Connor is additionally charged with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
Both men were held in detention due to previous felony convictions.
