ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Thousands of NYSEG customers have filed complaints about errors on their bills. 

NYSEG President Trish Nilsen blames the mistakes on meters and Covid. 

Nilsen adds people on a subscription service were also affected by billing issues. 

Any NYSEG customer that sees mistakes on their bills can file complaints with the New York Department of Public Service.

In related news, the New York PSC approved NYSEG’s rate hikes last week.
