NEWFIELD, NY (607NewsNow) — Budget prep is beginning in Newfield’s school district.

A series of meetings starts next week on preparation for the 2026-27 spending plan for the Newfield Central School District.

Over 4 dates in January, February, and March, there will be 2 meetings – the first in-person at 5 p.m. in the Weaver Conference Room and the second virtually on Facebook and YouTube at 6:30 p.m.

District officials say the first meeting next Tuesday, Jan. 20 will focus on transportation, benefits, and debt service. Here’s information about dates and topics for the 3 other meetings:
