TIOGA, N.Y. (WHCU) – A Tioga County man awaits his day in court.

Tioga County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 37-year-old Raymond Godfrey Jr., of Tioga, on September 17 after an investigation into a domestic disturbance report. Godfrey is accused of threatening another person while possessing an illegal handgun. Godfrey is charged with felony criminal possession of a firearm, and misdemeanors of criminal possession of a weapon ammunition feeding device, menacing, and harassment.

Godfrey is scheduled to appear in Town of Tioga Court on October 11.
