ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — An elevator sign in a Cornell dorm was damaged by a recent fire, and investigators are trying to find out when it happened. 

Cornell Police learned of the damage on Tuesday, but authorities say it was first noticed on August 30. There’s no suspect description available.
