BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WHCU) — Congressman Marc Molinaro says he wants to avert another government shutdown.

In a statement, Molinaro is calling on the White House and Congressional leaders to strike a bipartisan agreement before September 30, which is when funding is scheduled to expire.

Molinaro, who represents the 19th Congressional district, says a shutdown would impact groups like working families, seniors, and veterans.
