Authorities seek to identify suspect in Cincinnatus counterfeit bill investigation

CINCINNATUS, N.Y. (WHCU) – The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help identifying a suspect in a counterfeit bill investigation.

Authorities say it happened at Dollar General on Route 26 in Cincinnatus just before 10:00 p.m. on Sunday. The man is accused of using a fake $100 bill to purchase items and exiting the store with the change. Authorities say the man in the security photo below also has a blonde mohawk although it’s not easily discernable in the picture.
