ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Centralus Health is reducing its workforce.
The healthcare group is eliminating 38 positions, including 20 leadership roles and 18 administrative and corporate service roles, citing “the realities of the current healthcare and economic climate.”
Impacted employees will be offered a severance package. The cuts represent less than 1% of Centralus’ workforce, which employs over 6,000 people.
According to WENY-TV, the reduction will affect workers at both Cayuga and Arnot Health.
