OWEGO, N.Y. (WHCU) — Flooding is being addressed in Owego. 

WBNG-TV reports the US Army Corp of Engineers are helping village officials with a planning-level study, which has already started. Board of Trustee member Laura Spencer tells WBNG the village has an old, antiquated system that has gotten overwhelmed by heavy rain in recent years.

Funding for the study is being covered by a grant.
