HARFORD, NY (607NewsNow) – A Cortland County man is accused of sex crimes.

On August 2, deputies arrested 41-year-old David Wacht, of Harford, and charged him with 10 felonies and a misdemeanor related to a sex crime investigation. A full summary of charges is listed below.

On July 30, the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office received allegations of sexual abuse dating back to 2016 in the Town of Harford. Wacht allegedly subjected more than one victim to inappropriate sexual contact over nearly 10 years, and investigators say the victims were known to him.

Wacht was taken to Cortland County Jail without bail. He will appear in Harford Town Court at 5 p.m. on August 6.
