ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Work is wrapping up on the McGraw Tower at Cornell.

According to a statement to WHCU, Andrew Magre, Associate VP for Engineering and Project Administration said. “The restoration of the job site back to the previous condition, and removal of the construction fencing around the project remains to be done. This work will be completed by August 14 before the majority of students arrive on campus.”

The $7 million construction project to replace the pyramidal roof began in July 2023.
