ALBANY, N.Y. (WHCU) — The entire state of New York is under an air quality advisory.

Increased air pollution from Canadian wildfires means anyone with breathing issues should remain indoors. Across the Southern Tier, today’s air quality is expected to rise about 100. The alert will remain in effect until midnight. Similar warnings were issued in June.

Governor Hochul says hundreds of thousands of N95 masks are available statewide.
