CAMPBELL, NY (607NewsNow) — No charges have been filed after a fatal shooting in Steuben County. 

State Police say troopers were called to Parker Road in the town of Campbell on Sunday, July 6 after a man was shot. The victim, 53-year-old William Tong, was rushed to a hospital in Pennsylvania but died during surgery on Monday, July 7.

The other person allegedly involved, 41-year-old Devan Hall, stayed on the scene and cooperated with investigators. Details of what led to the shooting remain under review.
