CORTLANDVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) – A traffic stop leads to drug charges in Cortlandville.
On July 10, State Police stopped 30-year-old Eugenio Matos Pizarro for speeding around 3:15 p.m. on Interstate 81.
According to troopers, the Syracuse man provided inconsistent answers to basic questions during the traffic stop, and a search was conducted. Matos Pizarro allegedly had cash, oxycodone, and over 100 packages of Xanax covertly taped inside multiple magazines.

Matos Pizarro is charged with both felony and misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
