ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A legal battle between the City of Ithaca and a city judge has ended with a win for the city.
The Ithaca Voice reports that in January 2022, Judge Seth Peacock declared over 16-hundred property violation tickets issued by the city were invalid because, among other reasons cited by the judge, the city did not offer an option to plead not guilty.
The city’s legal victory restores the tickets that were originally issued.
