OWEGO, N.Y. (WHCU) — A Tioga County man is under arrest on felony drug charges.

Investigators used a search warrant at a home in the town of Owego. 33-year-old Bienvenido Aponte was arrested after deputies say they found over 43 grams of fentanyl and more than 48-hundred dollars in cash from drug sales.

Aponte was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Also, authorities say a felony arrest warrant had been issued for Aponte in Delaware County on a grand larceny charge. He was turned over to local authorities after his arraignment in Tioga County.
