ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Ithaca Common Council continues their work crafting duties and responsibilities of a city manager.

Mayor Laura Lewis says it’s harder than just simply hiring someone. It also requires changing the city charter.

Lewis hopes to have a city manager hired and in place by January.
