WAVERLY, NY (607NewsNow) – We’re learning more about an incident that happened last week in the Waverly School District.

On June 3, authorities responded to the high school for a reported incident involving a school resource officer and students. In a Facebook post, the Waverly Police Department said that they would not release details to maintain the integrity of the investigation and protect the privacy of those involved.

On Friday, Waverly Police announced that charges have been filed against two juveniles. Waverly PD did not disclose what charges, adding that “no further statements will be made at this time.”
