ELMIRA, NY (607NewsNow) — An Elmira man wanted on a charge in Texas is under arrest.

The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office says a warrant was issued in Potter County, Texas for Randall Plasterer, who’s accused of violating probation. The 64-year-old was originally convicted of aggravated assault against a public servant in the Lone Star State.

Plasterer was arrested Wednesday and will be sent back down to Texas.
