CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — Second time was the charm in the Cortland Enlarged City School District.
Voters have approved the 54-point-five-million-dollar budget for the 2023 to 2024 school year. Tuesday’s revote came about a month after residents of the district rejected the original budget. Preliminary numbers show 67-percent approval, more than the required simple majority.
The school board will certify those results in a special meeting at two o’clock tomorrow afternoon.
