ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Wegmans will spend millions to help employees earn a degree next year.

The grocer has announced that over 1500 recipients will receive tuition assistance for the 2025-2026 academic school year as part of the annual Employee Scholarship Program.

It offers up to $8,000 for part-time workers and up to $16,000 for full-time staff and management interns. A dozen workers at the Ithaca store have received awards.

Since the program began in 1984, over $150 million has been distributed to more than 48,000 employees.
