ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Contract talks between the Ithaca City School District and Ithaca Teachers Association have been held weekly for several months.
ITA President Kathryn Cernera shared an update Tuesday on Ithaca’s Morning News.
As the two sides prepare to sit down together again on Thursday, Cernera says teachers are still seeking more money.
The Ithaca City School District has proposed a 4% pay boost while the ITA has asked for 8%.
