CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — A Cortland woman is accused of bribing following a fight last month.

Police say Cassandra Morgan physically assaulted a woman on April 28 and admitted to starting the fight on Clinton Ave., which was related to a previous dispute between the two. The victim suffered “head and facial injuries,” police said.

Morgan, who’s 29, allegedly offered money to the same victim to keep her from pressing charges. Morgan was arrested Monday and charged with felony bribing a witness and misdemeanor assault.
