ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Tompkins County legislators recently met with NYSEG. 

The meeting followed a resolution that called for an independent audit of the utility giant’s rate increases. Legislator Randy Brown says NYSEG understands customer service needs improvement. 

Brown wants to hear answers from NYSEG.

The Cortland County Legislature approved a similar resolution on April 24.
