DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) – A Dryden man faces multiple charges after an investigation at Cornell.

Jarrod Nickerson, 35, is accused of stealing tools and other equipment from multiple construction sites on the Ivy campus. After a March 18 search of Nickerson’s home on Bone Plain Road in the Town of Dryden, authorities say they recovered more than $30,000 worth of stolen property, several illegal guns, and high-capacity magazines.

Nickerson was arrested and charged with six felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon and taken to Tompkins County Jail on $75,000 cash bail.

On March 27, Nickerson was additionally charged with burglary, criminal possession of stolen property, and another count of criminal possession of a weapon, all felonies. Nickerson was arraigned and remains in Tompkins County Jail.
