ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ithaca Police say a 19-year-old tried intentionally running someone over with their car. 

The victim told officers he jumped over a rock wall to try getting away from Anthony Fleming, who crashed Friday afternoon into the same wall. Police found the vehicle nearby with damage consistent with what the victim told them.

Fleming is charged with attempted assault, a felony. He was taken to the Tompkins County Jail with bail set at $30,000 cash.
