ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — A union of TCAT workers will vote on authorizing a strike.

United Auto Workers Local 2300 says a vote is scheduled for next Tuesday and Wednesday. The upcoming vote comes after another day of contract discussions between TCAT and UAW officials, which ended without a new deal.

Another rally at the transit company is planned for Saturday afternoon.
