ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ithaca Acting Police Chief Ted Schwartz says the relationship between IPD and the city is improving. 

Morale among IPD officers is also on the mend. 

Schwartz was appointed acting chief last week, a position he’s expected to keep through the remainder of the nationwide search for a permanent chief of police.
