CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — There’s a date for a murder trial in Cortland County. 

The Cortland Voice reports Ariela Thran’s trial will begin on Monday. Thran, who lives in Oswego County, is accused of killing her mother in December 2023.

Patricia Halverson’s body was found January 3, 2024 outside her home in Solon. Thran was charged with second degree murder. Last year, Thran pleaded not guilty.
