ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Two people are accused of armed robbery in Ithaca.
Just after 10 p.m. on February 13, Ithaca Police say 44-year-old Allen Forest walked into the KFC on Elmira Road, pulled a gun out, and demanded money. Forest fled to a nearby home with his alleged accomplice, 24-year-old Jessica Anderson.
The Ithaca-Tompkins Specialized Response Team assisted in apprehending the suspect. Both suspects were arrested after a search warrant was executed at the residence. According to IPD, key evidence was recovered.
Forest is charged with felony robbery, felony gun possession, felony criminal use of a firearm, felony grand larceny, all felonies, and misdemeanor menacing. He was remanded to Tompkins County Jail without bail. Anderson faces a felony robbery charge. She is in Tompkins County Jail on $50,000 cash bail.
