DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) – A historic building in Dryden will get a facelift.

On January 28, the village was awarded a $500,000 grant for its 1 West Main Street renovation project. State officials say the altered exterior facades will be restored, and the front addition will be redesigned to ‘integrate it with the historic character of downtown.’ Additionally, six upstairs apartments will see improvements, and a new apartment will be created.

The funding comes from the Office of Community Renewal New York Main Street Program.
