VIRGIL, NY (607NewsNow) – No injuries reported after a school bus crash in Cortland County.

Around 7 a.m. on January 8, deputies were called to Route 392 near Owego Hill Road in Virgil for a Cortland Enlarged City School District bus that had gone off the roadway. Authorities say the bus, which was occupied at the time, slid off the shoulder because of weather and road conditions.

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the State Police, TLC Ambulance, and Morey’s Towing.
