NEWFIELD, NY (607NewsNow) — Damage to a building in Newfield is described as ‘minimal.’
The Newfield Fire Company says a structure fire was reported around 7:30 Tuesday evening. Crews saw smoke and flames in the building, which required 20 firefighters and five trucks.
Newfield Fire Chief Zachary Guidi describes the building to WHCU as “multi-use” with “office, shared laundry, kitchen, and community room.”
The fire was quickly brought under control.
