ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — As we head into the holiday season, Senator Lea Webb is collecting socks. 

Webb tells WHCU it’ll help people in need. 

Webb is working with The Solution to Hunger, Inc. to collect new socks in the 52 state Senate district.

The sock drive kicked off Monday and new socks will be collected until December 16th.
