The National Weather Service says a storm can dump five to eight inches of snow over parts of the Southern Tier starting today through late Thursday night. A winter storm warning has been issued for Cortland from 1 p.m. today until 4 a.m. Friday. Ithaca falls under a winter weather advisory starting tonight at 10.
Snow squalls may reduce visibility to near zero tomorrow morning.
