Body found at Fall Creek gorge ID’d as Cornell student

ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Cornell says a body recovered from Fall Creek gorge was a student. 

In a statement, VP for Student and Campus Life Ryan Lombardi says Winter Knutson was an undergrad pursuing a degree in the College of Arts and Sciences. Crews spent about three hours Sunday morning securing Knutson’s body.

Lombardi also says the person rescued earlier in the day Sunday from the Fall Creek gorge is also a student.
