ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Ithaca’s new deputy city manager is a familiar name in local government.
The Common Council voted last night to accept Dominick Recckio for the job, which will help oversee how the city handles homelessness and encampments. Recckio, who’s currently Tompkins County’s communications director, was approved in a vote of eight to three.
City Manager Deb Mohlenhoff says Recckio will start in his new role on December 30.
