ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The alleged abductor of an Ithaca woman now faces criminal charges.
In Virginia, authorities have charged Michael Davis with one count of abduction. Davis is accused of abducting his ex-girlfriend Tatiana David from West Hill Circle last Wednesday. The pair ended up in Virginia, where the 34-year-old Davis is from.
A high-speed chase ended Wednesday night with a shootout between state troopers and Davis, who was seriously wounded. David was killed in the gunfire. An autopsy was scheduled last Thursday in Virginia for the 34-year-old single mom.
Additional charges against Davis are pending.
