CORTLAND, NY (CortacaToday) — Cortland faces another challenging budget year.
Mayor Scott Steve tells us he recognizes how tough things can get for residents.
The city faces a deficit of $1.4 million, which is smaller than the $5 million projected shortfall that Mayor Steve first feared in 2025.
Both Common Council meetings this month include public hearings on the 2025 spending plan. A vote is set for December.
