CORTLAND, NY (CortacaToday) — Many voters in Cortland County are changing their political affiliations.

Data from the county’s Board of Elections shows over 220 people switched parties in October. The number has increased each of the past two months.

October also saw over 580 new voter registrations in the county. On Oct. 26, over 900 people voted during the first day of early voting.
