ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – Frozen waffles sold at several regional and national retailers have been recalled.
TreeHouse Foods is voluntarily pulling back some products after routine testing at its manufacturing facility discovered a potential listeria contamination. There have been no confirmed reports of illnesses linked to the recalled products. However, listeria can cause serious infections in young children, the elderly, and people with weakened immune systems.
You can identify the products by the UPC, Lot Code, and Best By Date on the packaging. They were sold under various brands including Great Value at Walmart, Good & Gather at Target, PICS at Price Chopper, Clover Valley at Dollar General, Tops store brand, and more. Consumers are advised to check their freezers and discard the product or return it to the place of purchase for a credit.
