OWEGO, NY (CortacaToday) — More opioid settlement money is headed to Tioga County.
Legislative Chair Martha Sauerbrey tells us it’ll be added to what the county has received previously.
Sauerbrey says opioids are still a big problem close to home.
While the dollar amounts of the two new settlements isn’t known yet, Sauerbrey tells WHCU that to date, Tioga County has received roughly $250,000 in opioid settlement money.
