ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Two Ithacans are accused in multiple burglaries.
IPD used a search warrant last month at the First Street residence of Mariah Rose and Isaiah Foster. Police say they recovered over 50 thousand dollars in goods stolen between July and September. An illegally possessed handgun was also found during the search.
Nearly two weeks ago, 23-year-old Foster and 26-year-old Rose turned themselves in. According to the Ithaca Police Department, the following charges were filed:
Mr. Foster was arrested and arraigned on the following charges.
• 3 Counts of Burglary in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony
• 1 Count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 2nd Degree, a Class C Felony.
• 1 Count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th Degree, a Class E Felony.
• 1 Count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony.
Ms. Rose was arrested and arraigned on the following charges.
• 1 Count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 2nd Degree, a Class C Felony.
• 1 Count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony.
The two were taken to the Tompkins County Jail, where bail for Foster was set at $20,000 and $1,000 for Rose.
