ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Officers on patrol near Elm Street in Ithaca last evening say they heard gun shots.

Witnesses told police shots were fired from one car to another at the intersection of West State Street and Floral Avenue. It happened around 5:50 Tuesday evening. Before IPD could arrive, the two vehicles allegedly involved left the scene.
